Leslye Headland created the series set a century before The Phantom Menace, depicting a time of peace in the galaxy with the Jedi Order and Galactic Republic collaborating to maintain progress among diverse civilizations. However, an assassin named Mae threatens this peace by targeting Jedi, starting with Jedi Master Indara. Mae's twin sister, Osha, a mechanic, is wrongly accused of the murder and arrested by the Jedi.
