Review of “IF” - A Movie About Imaginary Friends

In IF Myflixer, we are introduced to Bea, a teenager who unexpectedly encounters a group of IFs. They have been forgotten by their adult children. Although this concept may draw comparisons to Toy Story 3, the film distinguishes itself by exploring different themes. While the plot may not offer many unexpected twists, it does manage to deliver a surprising amount of emotional impact. The mother's backstory is subtly hinted at rather than explicitly depicted, and the relationships between characters are portrayed with nuance, avoiding any overt melodrama.
